Valerie is a native of Chicago, and has been living in Ontario, Canada for the past 9 years. Valerie attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago for two years where she met her husband, Tim. She finished her post-secondary education at Nipissing University while living in Sudbury, ON, where she eventually received her primary teaching qualifications. Valerie and her husband currently live in Sarnia, ON with their three children (ages 8, 5 and 2). Valerie is currently at home with the kids and is quite involved with the women's and children's ministries at Bluewater Baptist Church where her husband is an assistant pastor. Her responsibilities range from leading children's small groups, to coordinating Ladies' Bible Studies, to organizing and teaching at conferences within the church's women's ministry. In her spare time, she enjoys making cards and scrapbooking and hopes to one day find the time to finish her middle son's baby book!
