Wondering why you're not receiving our emails anymore?
| [09.27.2010]
|
We have noticed that our list of bounced emails keeps getting larger, in large part from the sympatico, rogers and shaw (some yahoo and hotmail as well) providers, as well as other minor providers. If you've wondered why you're not getting our bi-monthly emails anymore... the problem may be with your internet/email provider. How to fix it?
1) Make sure that you've added melanie @ momsmoments . ca (minus the spaces) in your email contact list and check your spam/junk mail folder to make sure its not ending up in there.
2) Contact your internet/email provider about the problem, as its likely being blocked at that level and they may be the only ones able to rectify it.
3) If the above two don't work, try subscribing with a different email address (if you have one). OR, just keep checking the website to get your updated newsletters and anything else you may have missed!!
We appologize if you've been missing the emails notifying you of the latest newsletters!! We're doing what we can on our end, but you may need to help us by trying the above! Thank you for your cooporation!
The name search is over!

Thanks to ALL who sent it submissions over the summer to help us give the "Mom's Moments" newsletter a name of its own!! We felt we had a clear winner with "Women on the Move." Thank you to Joanne's Pearson of Richmond Hill, Ontario for finding our winning name! For more on the rational behind the new name for the newsletter read the Oct/Nov 2010 issue of WM!

New discussion topics will continually be added, and in the future they will be linked to topics addressed in Mom's Moments articles, allowing us to hear from more of you!
Not on Facebook? We just gave you one good reason to join!

When will the next newsletters be published?
| [06.01.2010]
|
Both the Mom's Moments and Deeper newsletters are currently being published on a bi-monthly basis as follows:
- October/November - Anniversary/Fall Issue
- December/January - Holiday Issue
- February/March - Winter Issue
- April/May - Spring Issue
- June/July - Summer issue
We chose to not have an August/September issue which allows us to break for the summer with our families, seeing as we are all busy moms and want to keep our priorities straight!

We at Mom's Moments know that when life gets busy, it's a struggle to get creative and figure out what everyone is going to eat at meal times! Like our Health Nut, Caroline, said in her first article back in January 2007, a little more planning can really help in caring for ourselves and our families! We have put together some documents that we hope will help you to cope with meal times.
1) Access our Menu Planner Templates and Samples to help you get organized and plan ahead for your meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
2) Find the MM recipes that have appeared in our newsletters - all together in one document for easy access! Email your recipes for the newsletter to info @ momsmoments . ca (please remove the spaces from the email address... we're just trying to reduce spam!)
3) Access Wendy Lempner's (RD) ABC's of Healthy & Fun Snacks for Children (and Parents too!) for a variety of snack ideas.
4) Don't miss this interactive grocery list to help you save time and energy!
5) Read this blog post: "10 Great Reasons to Eat Dinner as a Family"
6) Need more help? Try www.dinewithoutwhine.com - A menu planning service designed for busy families (includes affordable meals the entire family will enjoy, a grocery list and all!) Costs just 1 penny to try it out.
Good luck in the kitchen as you strive to provide your family with healthy, delicious meals!
